Stronger, braver, more loved...some of us get this truth reversed.
We think we're stronger and braver than we are; we think we don't need any help navigating through the storms of life because we're up to the challenge.
We haven't the foggiest notion of how much we're loved by JESUS because to us love is limited to the human scope, to the fickle love of lovers, to the conditional love of friends, to the self-centered love we extend in return to those from whom we desire affection.
It is impossible for us to know the strength, the courage, the love
that the HOLY ONE extends to us without opening our minds, our lives,
our hearts to receive them through HIS salvation package.
If we are to live the fuller life of strength and power and love that HE purchased for us, we must receive JESUS, for these precious things are found nowhere else...they cannot be given by anyone else.
Each of us is offered the gift. Each of us may receive it at will.
