Among the attributes of the devil are: deceit, murder, devastation, theft.
Perhaps he works hardest, at least among CHRISTIANS, at theft.
If he can steal their joy, they become defeated.
If he can steal their hope, they become distraught.
If he can steal their faith, they become powerless.
If he can steal their love, they become uncaring.
If he can steal their truth, they become lost.
If he can steal their witness, they become unproductive.
If he can steal their salvation, they become lost.
If he can steal their peace, they become restless.
If he can steal their honor, they become ashamed.
If he can steal their unity, they become ineffective.
The evil one may not be able to convince believers in CHRIST to do murder or adultery or theft--he won't try to get them to commit the 'big' sins--but he will endeavor to rob them of all the qualities that make them powerful in the on-going warfare against him.
Because he wants YOU to be ineffective, he's trying to take something from you that sustains you in the battle against his evil machinations.
What is it?
Find out because it's difficult to secure something that you don't recognize as being in jeopardy.
Where there is joy, hope, faith, love, truth, witness, salvation, peace, honor, unity, there is POWER...and he certainly doesn't want you to have that!
