The evil one wants nothing more than for you to believe his lies...he doesn't necessarily care if you believe all his lies because your acceptance of any one of his lies -- or part of any one of his lies -- relegates you to the acceptance of his falsehood.
Once you have concluded that a lie is truth, you will act upon it, and that will be the beginning of your downfall.
Whether the lie you accept is grievous, such as that the slaughter of
people whose belief system differs from your own is viable
(statistically, a CHRISTIAN is martyred every five minutes in the world
today) or whether it is insignificant (adultery is commonplace in most
societies) the lie you believe and accept will contribute to your
spiritual downfall.
