FATHER GOD, we long for YOU at times of tragedy and sorrow.
FATHER GOD, we thank YOU that the reports about those who were felled while practicing for a baseball game evidence their improvement and are optimistic regarding full recovery.
But we yearn for the day when such tragedies will no longer be regular occurrences, for the day when we as a people will be so in tune with YOU and YOUR law that there will be no room for the hatred and discord that are so prevalent among us.
