The stars are inanimate, lifeless masses of molten light that swirl in space. They illumine the night with the wonder of their brilliance. They are like diamonds, scattered against the dark sky and they brighten the world by their gift to the night.
The Word tells us that God has numbered each of them. He has always known the origin of every star and He has always known the exact moment when each star will burn out.
In much the same way, He knows you. He knew you before you were born and had a plan for you before you were brought forth from your mother's womb. Jeremiah 1:5, Psalm 139:16
The very hairs of your head are numbered (see Luke 12:7) because
everything about your life is important to the One who loves you and
gave Himself for you.
He knows the very moment when you will pass from life in this Vale of Tears to life eternal with Him in Heaven. Hebrews 9:27 Unlike the stars, you will not simply one day burn out.
Unlike the stars, you were created for eternal residence with the Creator who fashioned you to reign with Him forever.
Will you give your life to Him so He can fulfill His glorious plan for you?
