LORD JESUS, we ask YOU to go before us into this new chapter of our history as a nation.
We ask that YOU will restore the people of this nation to faith in YOU, the ONE, TRUE, LIVING GOD.
Our founding fathers placed this nation at YOUR feet at its inception.
They were men of faith in YOU, JESUS, who wrote our great CONSTITUTION upon the principles found in YOUR HOLY WORD, the BIBLE.
They believed that YOU died to set men free from sin and that the
government they established should enable men to live free under godly
ordinances.
We know that in their day, there was no religion that did not know JEHOVAH as LORD that was of any influence in this nation, and we ask that YOU will send a THIRD GREAT AWAKENING that will cause everyone who abides in this land to be touched by YOUR HOLY SPIRIT and brought to faith in our only GOD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST, so once again, there will be no other god in our land but YOU WHO ARE THE TRUE AND LIVING GOD !!
We ask that YOU not allow the evil one to wrest from YOUR HAND the nation that was given to YOU at its founding.
We ask that we might live free, godly, blessed lives upon the earth and that YOU MIGHT RECEIVE ALL THE GLORY.
IN YOUR MIGHTY NAME WE ASK, JESUS. AMEN.
