The election of Donald Trump as the next President of this nation will not change the ultimate spiritual course of our land unless it is accompanied by a great spiritual awakening--one of the magnitude of the FIRST and SECOND GREAT AWAKENINGS in this nation; however,it does give this nation a small reprieve from a government that has opposed God on every spiritual issue.
God raises men into power and takes them out of power, according to Psalm 75:7.
The election of Trump is a sign from God that we still have a chance to turn our nation around SPIRITUALLY!!!
LORD JESUS, we come before YOU, humbly and fervently beseeching YOU
that YOUR people, who are called by YOUR name, will indeed continue
to"humble themselves and pray and seek YOUR face and turn from their
wicked ways, so YOU will be able to hear our prayers and forgive our sin
and HEAL OUR LAND," according to II Chronicles 7:14.
We thank YOU that the evil onslaught of abortion, of perversion of YOUR law, of collusion with enemies that hate us, of abandonment of AMERICANS to the hands of vile men, that the invasion of our nation by unvetted immigrants will be curtailed under the new president.
We thank YOU that the rule of law will be restored, that our CONSTITUTION will not be compromised to foreign law, that our trade will not be governed by foreign entities. We thank YOU that under this new president, the sovereignty of our nation will remain in our own hands.
We pray that YOU will govern the heart of our new president and that he will surround himself with wise and godly men.
We pray that as JOHN ADAMS said, we will be a nation under the rule of law with but one ULTIMATE SOVEREIGN--YOU, DEAR LORD, YOU, PRECIOUS JESUS.
