May we who believe life is a sacred gift from God, who believe that abortion should not be a method of birth control, that a woman should make her choice in the drug store before conception occurs rather than in the abortionists clinic after conception occurs, must pray that the heart of this nation will be softened toward the unborn.
We must pray that mothers will cherish their babies and lovingly seek adoption rather than abortion for the children they cannot raise themselves.
We must pray for the hearts of those who perform abortions, that they will be repulsed by their own callous ability to destroy innocent life; that they will come to repentance and be advocates for these precious little ones rather than their destroyers.
We must pray for the Governor Cuomos and the Nancy Pelosis and the Governor Nothrops of the nation, that they will be convicted in the depth of who they are and fall on their faces before the Christ they profess to worship in repentance for their applause for destroying the work of the Author of life.
We must pray for ourselves because we have allowed this abomination to exist in our nation without rising up against it since 1973.
LORD JESUS, forgive us for our hard hearts. Forgive us for remaining complacent against the legality of this evil abomination even while we express our disdain for it. Help us to help the mothers who cannot care for their babies. Help us to find loving homes for babies that cannot be raised by their parents. Help us to facilitate life as much as we say we love life.
Help us to turn this evil that has existed in our nation for almost half a century around. Help us to cleanse our hearts and cleanse our land. Help us to honor YOU, O great AUTHOR of life by saving and supporting and loving the little lives that YOU have created. Help us to raise them to honor and glorify YOU.
In JESUS' mighty name I ask. Amen.
