*WE SIMPLY CAN'T KEEP LIVING DAY AFTER DAY, WEEK AFTER WEEK, MONTH AFTER MONTH, YEAR AFTER YEAR IN BLATANT AND UNREPENTANT REBELLION TO GOD AND ARROGANTLY THINK THAT WE WON'T HAVE TO PAY A PRICE FOR OUR SINS! WE ARE HELD ACCOUNTABLE BY GOD FOR OUR SINS AS INDIVIDUALS, AND WE WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE BY GOD FOR OUR SINS AS A NATION!!!

LORD JESUS, we recognize that our sins are without measure.

We acknowledge our sins as individuals and repent of them.

We lay our nation's sins: adultery, sexual promiscuity, abortion on demand, late term abortions, violence, pornography, glutenous consumption, covetousness, corruption, racism, godless unbelief in all its ramifications, using YOUR HOLY NAME in vain--at the foot of the cross and ask YOU to open our eyes to see our sins as YOU see them and to repent and turn back to YOU, our PRECIOUS SAVIOR.

This nation was placed at YOUR feet by our founding fathers who risked the turbulent seas to come to this place for freedom to worship YOU according to their hearts' dictates. They used YOUR HOLY WORD, THE BIBLE, as the cornerstone of their founding documents, they advanced YOUR TRUTH throughout the globe, yet now we have turned our backs on YOU and YOUR IMMUTABLE WORD.

Forgive us, JESUS. LET TRUTH COME ALIVE IN US AGAIN. LET THIS PEOPLE RISE UP FROM THEIR SPIRITUAL SOMNOLENCE AND BECOME ON FIRE FOR YOU AND YOUR TRUTH.

YOUR WORD tells us that the same power that raised YOU from the dead lives in us (ROMANS 8:11). We ask YOU to teach those of us who believe in that power to use it to further YOUR KINGDOM'S PURPOSES, to IGNITE ANOTHER GREAT AWAKENING IN OUR LAND and TO SPREAD THE FIRE OF YOUR TRUTH THROUGHOUT THE EARTH.

II CHRONICLES 7:14 says, "IF MY PEOPLE WHO ARE CALLED BY MY NAME, WILL HUMBLE THEMSELVES AND PRAY AND SEEK MY FACE AND TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS, THEN WILL I HEAR FROM HEAVEN AND FORGIVE THEIR SIN AND HEAL THEIR LAND."

LORD JESUS, let every believer in YOU who reads these words around the world be on their faces before YOU, seeking forgiveness from their sins; let them be revived and set on fire with a spiritual resolve that compels them to take YOUR WORD to "every kingdom and every tribe," and let us not rest until all mankind bows at YOUR footstool.
