Daniel's Cry for Help!

 Daniel's Cry for Help!

Saints of God, we know that in Scripture, when Israel's future was in danger, Daniel CRIED OUT to the Lord, freely confessing the sins of the Hebrew people and asking our Lord to rescue His people.
Here is that testimony taken from the Book of Daniel, Chapter 9:
3 Then I set my face toward the Lord God to make request by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes. 4 And I prayed to the Lord my God, and made confession, and said, "O Lord, great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and mercy with those who love Him, and with those who keep His commandments, 5 we have sinned and committed iniquity, we have done wickedly and rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and Your judgments. . .
18 O my God, incline Your ear and hear; open Your eyes and see our desolations, and the city which is called by Your name; for we do not present our supplications before You because of our righteous deeds, but because of Your great mercies. 19 O Lord, hear! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, listen and act! Do not delay for Your own sake, my God, for Your city and Your people are called by Your name."
(Please also meditate upon all of Daniel 9: 1- 19)
21 days later: God answers that cry
Daniel Chapter Ten
1 In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a message was revealed to Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar. The message was true, but the appointed time was long; and he understood the message, and had understanding of the vision. 2 In those days I, Daniel, was mourning three full weeks. 3 I ate no pleasant food, no meat or wine came into my mouth, nor did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled. . .
"10 Suddenly, a hand touched me, which made me tremble on my knees and on the palms of my hands. 11 And he said to me, "O Daniel, man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak to you, and stand upright, for I have now been sent to you." While he was speaking this word to me, I stood trembling.
12 Then he said to me, "Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words. 13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia. 14 Now I have come to make you understand what will happen to your people in the latter days, for the vision refers to many days yet to come."
. . . 18 Then again, the one having the likeness of a man touched me and strengthened me. 19 And he said, "O man greatly beloved, fear not! Peace be to you; be strong, yes, be strong!"
> > > In His mercy, and because of His great name, God did answer Daniel's prayer . . . 21 days later.
Today's "Daniel Cry"
TODAY MARKS 21 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY: TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3RD, 2020!
As we view the polls and the news we are receiving about the outcome of this election, is it not time for us, too, to position ourselves as Daniel did, and to CRY OUT in repentance, for the deliverance of our nation?
Do we not need a MIRACLE to see righteousness maintained in the White House, and restored in the halls of government?
And does GOD never change??
Is He not capable of sending an angelic force to SAVE OUR NATION, when men's attempts may fail?
Will He not answer our cry?
