1 Thessalonians
2:11-12 For you know that we dealt with each of you as a father
deals with his own children, encouraging, comforting and urging you to live
lives worthy of God, who calls you into his kingdom and glory. Colossians 3:21
Fathers, do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged.
Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in
the way he should go, Even when he is
old he will not depart from it.

Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring
them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
