Raising your youngsters in "the wisdom and nurture and admonition of the LORD" is the greatest responsibility you have in life.
O, yes, your career is important, your relationship with your wife is of utmost importance, but the responsibility you have to guide your children through life and to prepare them for eternity is unique.
When you ponder the fact that their eternal destiny is in your hands, it behooves you to know JESUS yourself, to drink HIS WORD into you so you will be equipped to pour out of your knowledge of and relationship with the King of kings and Lord of lords upon your children.
