"You shall have a song, as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept, and gladness of heart." Isaiah 30:29
Have you chosen to sing your song of praise to the LORD or are your lips silent? It's a choice you make every time you are confronted with a trying circumstance or a perplexing problem.
The Word tells you that you are to praise God continually, Psalm 34:1. It doesn't say to praise Him only when things are going your way but even when everything seems to have gone wrong.
The Word tells you to praise God continually because "He inhabits the
praise of His people," Psalm 22:3, and where He is, there is power to
overcome all manner of affliction and distress.
Your loving Savior wants you to be the beneficiary of all He came to earth to deliver into your hand--so sing that song of praise! Hold out your hand to receive by faith His blessing when you open your mouth to sing to His glory in the deepest, darkest night.
