Jesus knows no nationality. If He were to be categorized as a single race or made a citizen of a single country, it would have to be Israel, because He was born a Jew.
But He transcends race and nationality. He is the only God / Man and He came to deliver fallen men of every race and nationality and creed from the bonds of sin.
We can't wrap Him in the American flag and hope He will restore American greatness, but we can wrap America in faith again. We can bow once again before the cross and be delivered from our sin. We can follow the instruction of II Chronicles 7:14 and allow the King of kings and Lord of Lords to use this nation as HE once did--to HIS GLORY!
"If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and
pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear
from Heaven and forgive their sin and heal their land."
