John, the 'beloved Apostle,' conveyed the love Jesus gave to him to every life that touched his, including us. We who read his words 2000 years after they were penned are touched with the joy of them and lifted by the power of them, for they originated in the heart and love of JESUS.
May we allow this glorious love to profoundly affect the way we live and the way we relate to those around us. May we not only speak of HIS great love, but may we live Christ's great love.
May we be 'living epistles,' through whom men may read of the wondrous love our Savior has for each of us.
