The BIBLE tells us that the tongue is a powerful weapon, sharper than a two-edged sword. The WORD of GOD also states that "blessing and cursing" should not proceed from the same mouth.
But how many parents are consistently kind and loving and up-lifting to their children?
Many allow their own emotional ups and downs to dictate how they will speak to their children, resulting in youngsters who have a confused concept of who they are.
No one
can be a perfect parent, but with the grace and help of the CHRIST
within, all parents can encourage and promote their children by the
consistency of their steadfast determination to help them believe the
best about themselves.
These godly parents will then hear their children one day "rise up and call them blessed."
