The Lord doesn't want His people to be afraid...He doesn't want them to be afraid of anything.
Jesus doesn't want His people to fear any human enemy or any spiritual enemy. Jesus wants His people to have the courage of Daniel who faced the lions; the courage of Noah who faced the tempest; the courage of Joseph who faced the hatred of his brothers and the deception of Potiphar's wife.
Why does He insist that His people not be afraid?
Because He has assured them, "I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you."
Do you trust Him?
