Illegal Immigrant Voting

House Democrats voted Friday to defend localities that allow illegal immigrants to vote in their elections, turning back a GOP attempt to discourage the practice. The vote marks a stunning reversal from just six months ago, when the chamber - then under GOP control - voted to decry illegal immigrant voting. "We are prepared to open up the political process and let all of the people come in," Rep. John Lewis, a Georgia Democrat told colleagues as he led opposition to the GOP measure.

The 228-197 vote came as part of a broader debate on Democrats' major legislative priority this year, HR 1, the "For the People Act," which includes historic expansions of voter registration and access, as well as a major rewrite of campaign finance laws. The measure would have had no practical effect even if it had passed. Illegal immigrants - and indeed noncitizens as a whole - are not legally able to participate in federal elections.

But Republicans had hoped to send a message to localities such as San Francisco, where noncitizens are now allowed to vote in school board elections.

We who cherish our free and sovereign nation must pray that God's mighty hand will stop the enemy of darkness from moving in to change the sound laws and practices that have protected America from falling prey to insidious wickedness which the Democrats are attempting to bring about in this land.

May God, put a wall of righteousness around our godly voting laws. We pray that the Lord will resist the illegal, unlawful, dark, sinister, wicked practices that the Democrats are raising up to back them. In the Name of Jesus we pray.

* Allowing non-citizens to vote is the essence of what appears to be an irresponsible attempt on the part of the Democrats to gain additional voters (illegal voters) to their cause.

Law-abiding citizens must ask themselves how this will impact their lives; how they could possibly be advantaged by having non-citizens given the cherished right to vote.

It becomes clear that enemies of our nation from anywhere in the world could become voters who would undermine our nation from within.

Can it be that the Democrats are eager to have this nation overrun from within, no foreign army required, so they can have absolute control? Perhaps those who are demanding impeachment for our president should be impeached themselves.
