Reflections on This Pandemic

Reflections on This Pandemic by Pastor Wally

GOD must be trying to get the attention of errant man, for the extraordinary events of the day seem designed by Him to recover the attention and the heart of the human race.

In Matthew 21:13 Jesus states, "'My house will be called a house of prayer,' but you are making it 'a den of robbers.'"

Have the people of the world collectively become the proverbial 'den of thieves'?

Are we robbing GOD of His rightful place in our lives? Perhaps it's time to evaluate where we stand in our relationship with the LORD; perhaps it's time to let GOD back into our homes and into our hearts.

As we reflect upon JESUS' triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, let us open our hearts to our Savior and invite Him to take His proper place as Lord over our lives. Let us not be as those who strewed His path with palm fronds on Sunday and shouted, “Crucify Him!” on Thursday.

Let us resolve to prepare our hearts for the glory He will reveal on Easter morning.

May we His children offer our time, our families, our bodies, our worship, our praise to Him so fully that wherever we are, will be His 'House of Prayer.' Who knows but that He has raised us up to call forth His name for such a time as this—till He comes again.
