The Most Dangerous Weapon

 One weapon killed 17,000,000 (that is 17 Million!) People in a very short time.

And that weapon is currently being unleashed on our country.

If you do not know what it looks like you will not see it.

That weapon is propaganda.

The most dangerous weapon on the planet is propaganda.

In WWII 6 Million Jews and 11 Million others were killed for their religious, political or ideological beliefs. It worked because someone in power understood the psychology of the human mind.

The actions against these victims did not start with slaughter. Most people would not accept this. It began with lumping people into groups and taking away their rights, or freedoms based on their group membership.

While the target of Propaganda is the psychology of a population.

The goal of propaganda is to prepare a population to not only accept once unacceptable policy, but at some point to actually celebrate and participate in once unacceptable policy or policies.

Before victims of the holocaust were slaughtered, they were first of all demonized by all the communication outlets of the day Good, law abiding citizens began to fear and even hate their neighbors.

This made it easy for an entire population to participate in and celebrate the violation of humanity that would follow.

The message of the propaganda was two-fold:

1. The soon-to-be victims were evil, and good people were in danger because of their ethnicity, ideology, or beliefs.

2. The government would take care of this evil, all you have to do is tell us when you see one of these “evil people,”

We would like to believe that the SS and the German army did all the dirty work, but much of the violation of humanity took place at the hands of angry and fearful citizens who had been convinced they were doing good to participate in and celebrate the violation of human rights.

The power of propaganda is that it uses your best qualities against you, as does all abusive thinking.

Your sense of justice and your compassion for your fellow man are targeted, as is your sense that you see others who have been deceived and you want them to see the truth.

Pay attention when you have sweeping powerful beliefs about large percentages of our population: (The Left, The Right, President Trump, Joe Biden, The Ones who voted for _______) that also result in outrage and fear. This is what it feels like to be fooled by propaganda.

Be aware that the information that made you think and feel this way may be distorted, incomplete, or entirely false. Don’t just watch for information, but also watch for those who make it their role to police information.

Pay careful attention to who you are not allowed to criticize

It has never been more important to ask not just “What do I know?” but to ask “How do I know what I know?”

Does any of this remind you of what is happening in our country right now? Has the propaganda machine begun in earnest to control the news you hear and what you think about it?

Could this be the reason President Trump and his team were not allowed to present the evidence they have of voter fraud?

Will you be swallowed into the lie -- as Gobles said, "If a lie is told often enough it will be accepted as truth."

When the media controls the information you are fed, are they stuffing you with lies? With propaganda?

Is this the reason conservative views are banished from the media?

It can't happen here?
