LORD JESUS, YOUR people come before YOU with Thanksgiving and Praise for WHO YOU ARE. YOU, O precious LORD, are the ALPHA and the OMEGA, the BEGINNING and the END of all things in time.
It was YOU, Oh, MIGHTY GOD, EVERLASTING FATHER, PRINCE of PEACE who spoke and the worlds came into being. It was YOU, GLORIOUS CREATOR who fashioned man in YOUR OWN IMAGE. It was YOU, HOLY SPIRIT, who breathed the breath of life into man's body of clay and it is YOU who breathe the breath of eternal life into the spirit of every man who will receive YOU.
We glorify YOU, we magnify YOU, we lift YOU up, we exalt YOU, we give YOU praise and honor and glory, for YOU ALONE are worthy.
And we come to YOU, Oh, HEARER of prayers and GIVER of all good things, to thank YOU for the outcome of the recent election.
We know that YOU have, through the election of Donald Trump, given us a respite from the onslaught of socialism and communism that the progressive movement, which has been striving for dominance in this free nation for a century, has come so close to imposing upon AMERICA.
We thank you that the billions of dollars of George Soros and the actions of the minions who serve his purposes have been pulled down for a season in this nation...
...But we recognize that the danger of which YOU spoke in MATTHEW 12:43-45 is now upon us. YOU said that if the wickedness were cleansed from a man but he were left empty, evil spirits more wicked than the former would come to fill the empty space.
Our nation, too, DEAR JESUS, has been swept of the socialist agenda, but if people of faith do not continue to pray, the enemy of all that is righteous and holy will assail us with those who are more wicked that the recently defeated foes and reestablish his grasp upon this people so he might rob them of freedom and its initiative to succeed and to achieve and relegate them to a populace that knows nothing of self realization and knows only governmental supply.
We beseech YOU, Oh, GREAT and GLORIOUS GOD, that YOU hear our prayers for a THIRD GREAT AWAKENING !!!! That YOU send YOUR HOLY SPIRIT to stir among us and awaken within us a hunger that cannot be satisfied but by YOUR HOLY PRESENCE WITH US AND YOUR WONDROUS SALVATION WITHIN US.
We cry out the II CHRONICLES 7:14 prayer in the behalf of our land:
IF MY PEOPLE, WHO ARE CALLED BY MY NAME, WILL HUMBLE THEMSELVES AND PRAY AND SEEK MY FACE, THEN WILL I HEAR FROM HEAVEN AND FORGIVE THEIR SIN AND HEAL THEIR LAND."
Let it be, our GREAT and SOON-COMING KING, for YOUR GLORY'S SAKE. Amen.
