Danger!
Sometimes danger is far more imminent than perceived. How many times have GOD'S people been spared from harm that they were unaware existed? The only threats recognized are those confronted.
Where are you today, relative to some lurking harm or evil? If you feel totally safe, perhaps you truly are--and praise GOD for that wonderful sense of security--but perhaps you are in a threatening situation of which you are totally unaware.
If you
are--praise GOD anyway because HE knows exactly what confronts you at
this moment and exactly what you will face in the future--and HE is in
total control.
Whether you are facing calm seas or tumultuous waves, the CHRIST you love and serve is MASTER of the situation. HE can allow you to sail on the peaceful waters or HE can keep you through the storm.
When the waves become too high for your craft, HE will speak the words HE spoke to the long-ago onslaught--"Peace, be still--" and the winds and waves still MUST obey HIM.
