"Why are you disquieted, O my soul? And why are you in despair within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God." Psalm 43:5
Hope Is Powerful
How do we find hope?
Where does true hope come from in this world?
We can all have hope for the future -- the the future will be better than today. But the key question is, where does your hope come from?
If your hope just comes from wishful thinking, or hoping that circumstances may change, your hopes might come true -- or they might not.
True hope comes from the Lord! If God is the source of your hope, then your hopes will be fulfilled because if God gives you hope He will fulfill it.
Here are three keys to hope.
1. Make sure your hope is in the Lord Himself, the Maker of heaven and earth.
2. Pray diligently in faith to see your hope fulfilled.
3. Seek God Himself and not just what He gives you.
God loves you and wants your love for Himself!
Yes!
The God of all the universe loves you! Because you are loved by the King of kings and Lord of lords, you can have abiding hope in all circumstances.
As the Word says, "Hope thou in God!"
