If
you're misunderstood; if you seem to please no one; if your good
intentions fail to achieve any measurable improvement to the people or
circumstances around you--don't despair.
Keep investing your time, your energy, your heart into the people and into the projects that compel you to work in their behalf. Continue to do those things that give you a sense of gratification. Continue to seek the will of the LORD and to pursue it.
In so doing, you may go against the flow and find yourself the object of disdain or contempt, but don't worry if you're making waves by being who GOD has called you to be.
