If JESUS is truly your SOURCE, your full SUPPLY, then you have no problem with limited resources. No, your bank account may not be large, your investment portfolio may not be growing, your worldly treasure may not be impressive, but your mind, your heart, your spirit are at peace.

How can you enjoy inner tranquility when your outer circumstances are less than optimum?

Unless you truly fear the LORD, you can't.

And the word "fear" does not mean to be in dread of. The word "fear" means to hold in reverent regard. If you esteem HIM above all else in life, then you understand that all else in life is secure in HIS provision.

It isn't easy to live your entire lifetime in a place that counts temporal achievements and earthly possessions as treasures to be striven for yet have an eternal perspective on what is of true worth, but you can have that eternal perspective if you allow yourself to possess the "mind of CHRIST."

If you think as HE thinks, if you see with HIS eyes, if you understand with HIS wisdom, then you know the treasures of earth can be lost in the twinkling of an eye but the treasures of eternity are invested into your heavenly account and will endure forever.

If you allow yourself to view life through the mind --and through the heart-- of JESUS, you will grasp the veracity of the BIBLICAL assertion that having little with the fear of the LORD is far greater than having much with the turmoil of time.

How do you see life? What treasure do you have stored within your heart? Do you strive after the world's finest possessions, or do you hunger for the "unspeakable GIFT" JESUS holds out to you?
How do you understand the concept that with HIM, a little is a lot?
