Why the Disconnect?
Sometimes we feel like we're missing the mark. If JESUS is 'the mark,' we certainly aren't connecting with HIM. Why?
What factors are keeping us from our destiny?
Specifically, what is keeping us from knowing and serving JESUS as our PERSONAL SAVIOR AND LORD?
Perhaps it is just as the beloved evangelist Billy Graham says: we don't read our BIBLES, we neglect church attendance, and we overlook our fellow man when he is in need.
When we don't read the BIBLE, we are denying ourselves the LIVING WORD that it contains--and that LIVING WORD is JESUS.
When we don't attend church, we cannot be the bride of CHRIST, for the church is HIS beloved.
When we don't reach out to help our brother at the point of his need, we deny ourselves the privilege of being the hand of the HOLY ONE extended to one of HIS broken children.
May we allow HIM to reconcile us to HIMSELF by letting HIM fill us with HIS WORD, that is LIFE; by allowing ourselves to fellowship with HIS saints, and by becoming vessels through whom HE may pour the LIVING WATER of HIMSELF upon broken and thirsty humanity.
