God's Grace Extended
How do you, as a Christian, respond to God's admonition to you to extend grace to those around you?
There's a story about Robert E. Lee that illustrates behavior that evidences such grace.
When the general was called to testify at the trial of a man known to be his enemy, he surprised the court by saying very kind things about the defendant.
The prosecutor protested, "But don't you know what he has said about you?"
Lee replied, "You asked my opinion of him, not his opinion of me."
