Limbaugh: 'You heard him, Barack Obama is responsible' - WND

Now we know. It was former President Obama who sparked the Russia collusion claims, the spying on the Trump campaign, the special counsel, the focus on the Trump campaign's connection to Russia rather than Hillary Clinton's. That's according to talk-radio host Rush Limbaugh, who Thursday cited former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper claim that Obama ordered the crucial intelligence assessment.

"With respect to the Russian meddling, "Clapper said, "if it weren't for President Obama, we would not have done the intelligence community assessment that we did that set off a whole sequence of events which are still unfolding today, notably Special Counsel Mueller's investigation.

"President Obama is responsible for that and it was he who tasked us to do that intelligence community assessment in the first place. I think that's an important point when it comes to critiquing President Obama," said Clapper.

Limbaugh reacted: "Wait a minute. Did he really mean to say this? Did he really mean to say that Obama ordered all of this? Because that's what he said. You heard him. 'President Obama is responsible for that.' 'We set off a whole sequence of events which are still unfolding today,' i.e., Mueller's investigation. Obama is responsible for that. It was he who tasked us to do that intelligence community assessment in the first place."
