Prayer for Forgiveness:
“God, I’ve been hurt. I have a lot of resentment in my heart and I need You to heal me. I don’t want to live another minute with this spirit of offense. I want to be free. I ask for Your healing hand to touch me and for Your unconditional love to flood my heart so I can forgive [name a specific person] as quickly and as thoroughly as You have forgiven me.
"Your Word says that when I forgive others, I am blessed and become more like You. Lord, I release my offense to You right now.
"Thank You for forgiving me of my sins, and for using me today to reflect the perfect love of Your Son and my Savior, Jesus Christ to every life that touches mine--especially those who have hurt me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
