Good Morning

Good Morning
Well, for some it is a good morning and for others it is a disappointment of great magnitude. The election results are in and some voters are rejoicing in the selection of their preferred candidates while other voters are lamenting the loss of theirs.
While we as American citizens are blessed in the very fact that we had the opportunity to cast our ballot for the candidate we felt would best uphold the Constitution of the United States and who would best represent us in government, it is still a bitter pill to swallow when the candidate of choice does not become the victor.
Although we must wait another two years before we have the opportunity to cast our ballots again, we must continue to exercise our right and responsibility as citizens to keep the feet of our representatives to the fire.
We must make sure they know they have been chosen to represent our Constitution and our people. We must make sure they have been sent to the House of Representatives and the Senate to do the work of the people, not to undermine our duly-elected president.
However your candidate fared in yesterday's election, may you be mindful of your responsibility to "pray for those in authority so we may live peaceful lives." I Timothy 2:1, 2
Whoever was elected to office yesterday, those individuals are under the authority of the GOD who entrusted the awesome responsibility of governance to them. May each of those voted into office submit to the ONE by whose grace he serves.
