Virginia has gone solidly to the democrats.

One who knows anything about Virginia history might wonder how it is possible that a conservative state has slipped into the opposition camp.

The change can be explained in two letters: DC.

The very liberal members of "the swamp" have been pouring into Northern Virginia for decades to escape the high costs of living and the crowded conditions of the Capitol City; and they're moving to Virginia.

So the conservative people of this state are being out-voted by the influx of liberals from the City. And this will not change in the future.

The party whose governor incurred the ire of everyone in the country who hates racism in all its forms has won because many voters were persuaded to vote for the power of the party over the assault against their principles.

So abortion will continue as a common means of birth control rather than as a rare procedure used only to save the life of the mother.

So insulting an entire race and everyone who believes all people are equal in the sight of God means nothing compared to wielding political power.

So alternate lifestyles prevail over traditional values.

So political correctness trumps religious truth.

So what !!!!!
