Mr. Obama states that his gesture in nominating a muslim as a Federal Judge offers inclusion and diversity...Certainly, these are viable goals in a society that has always received people of every background.
However the one factor our president is perhaps not weighing fully is that every muslim is required by his faith to place Islam's shariah law above all other law and loyalty to Islam above every other loyalty.
Can a Federal judge fully support the CONSTITUTION when he is under such an obligation?
Will a muslim judge on the Federal bench be free to apply the law of
the UNITED STATES effectively, or will he be bound by the islamic goal
of 'culture jihad' to subvert the CONSTITUTION and base his rulings upon
the tenets of shariah law?
