He Penetrates the Darkness!

One needn't read too many testimonies of conversions from religions of darkness to faith in our Savior before realizing that there is a great move of the Spirit of God over peoples who have been long in bondage to darkness. Evidence abounds that the God of all creation is reaching out in very real ways to those who hunger to know Him and to escape from their prison of lies.

While ‘Christian’ nations are falling away from faith, turning away from the Christ who made them strong and free, those who have been under the power of dictatorial leaders imposing the tenets of cruel religious doctrines upon them are finding themselves face-to-face with the King of kings and Lord of lords who died to set them free.

Jesus visits them in the night seasons. He penetrates their prisons and invades their pits of despair with the gospel of truth and hope. He causes His love to dissolve their fear and to lift their courage. He personally conveys to them His strength to endure the persecution they will face because of their decision to follow Him and to trust in the power of His holy name.

Our Lord is above the false gods of religions of devils, and His assurance comes to those who follow Him. David clearly conveyed this truth to us in Psalm 46:1 where he said, “God is our refuge and our strength; He is an ever-present help in times of trouble.” How blessed we are when we place our faith in His truth; when we place our lives in His hands.
