A PRAYER

LORD JESUS, we know "the rain falls on the just and on the unjust"; we know that "the sun shines on the just and on the unjust," Matthew 5:45, and we come before YOU, beseeching YOU to stay the torrential rains that have come upon some parts of this country.

LORD, we have had drought in California; we have had snow in Colorado in the spring; and now we see flooding that defies imagination.

DEAR SAVIOR, we implore YOU to be merciful to us; we ask YOU to rescue us from the onslaught of weather that is bringing loss and death to so many. We ask YOU to show YOURSELF merciful to us collectively and individually...and LORD, when we are rescued, may we give YOU the glory.

IF MY PEOPLE, WHO ARE CALLED BY MY NAME, WILL HUMBLE THEMSELVES AND PRAY AND SEEK MY FACE AND TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS, THEN WILL I HEAR FROM HEAVEN AND FORGIVE THEIR SIN AND HEAL THEIR LAND. II CHRONICLES 7:14

The news and pictures coming out of Houston are mind blowing. Please pray for all us Texans. Rain on the way to the Dallas area as well and we are already soaked.
