Can You Imagine?

"THANKS BE UNTO GOD FOR HIS UNSPEAKABLE GIFT." II Corinthians 9:15

Can you imagine the world if JESUS had not come?

Our Constitution, which bases much of the law contained within it upon the principles of the BIBLE, would certainly not exist for our founding fathers would have had no CHRISTIAN guide on which to establish their new nation so this country would probably be another monarchy, as were the nations of the day.

Our families would be far different, for the concept of one man and one wife who are committed to one another for life would not exist; rather the plurality of marriage where women are subservient to men that is the family foundation in the pagan world would pervade our culture.

Our concept of respect and dignity for the individual would not exist for it is the CHRISTIAN BIBLE that declares that "in CHRIST there is no slave or free man; there is no male or female; there is no rich or poor; there is no weak or strong..." rather in HIM, all are one.

Can you imagine the institutions--schools, universities, hospitals, charitable institutions--that would not exist because most of those that do exist were founded under the auspices of CHRISTIANITY by men of faith who established these entities of hope and help because of their desire to promote the faith of CHRIST?

Can you imagine the hopeless condition of mankind if there were no church where man could go to pray, to fellowship with those of like precious faith, to hear the good news of the SAVIOR whose sacrifice washes man clean of sin and makes him new; that makes him an heir of salvation; that gives him the hope that he is co-heir with CHRIST of HIS eternal, Heavenly Kingdom?

If you can't fathom Earth without HIM, visit some part of the world where HIS SALVATION PACKAGE has been rejected. You will come home with renewed faith in the significance of the LIFE of JESUS and its transformation of the hearts that receive HIM from darkness to LIGHT.

You will be among those who thank our HOLY GOD for the "unspeakable GIFT" that makes sinners into saints; bond servants into free men; lost orphans into children of the KING of kings.
