Psalm 22

Everything that JESUS endured when HE suffered and died on Mount Calvary was for us.

The "SALVATION PACKAGE" is a comprehensive gift that includes every aspect of our lives.
Psalm 22 sums up what the treasure within this package includes:

1 My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?
BECAUSE JESUS WAS FORSAKEN, WE NEED NEVER BE.
2 O my God, I cry in the day time, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.
BECAUSE JESUS WAS NOT HEARD, OUR CRIES ARE BEFORE THE HOLY ONE.
3 But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of thy people.
BECAUSE WE PRAISE HIM, HE HEARS US.
4 Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.
AS HE DELIVERED HIS PEOPLE IN AGES PAST, SO WE MAY BELIEVE THAT HE WILL DELIVER US AT OUR POINT OF NEED.
5 They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.
WHEN WE CRY TO HIM, WE MAY BE ASSURED THAT WE WILL BE DELIVERED AS WE TRUST HIM.
6 But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.
JESUS BECAME NOTHING SO WE MAY BECOME THE FULLNESS OF HIS ORIGINAL INTENT FOR MANKIND.
7 All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,
THOUGH WE MAY BE MOCKED AND SCORNED, WE WILL BE STEADFAST IN OUR FAITH IN THE LORD.
8 He trusted on the Lord that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.
THOUGH THEY SCOFF, HE WILL DELIVER US.
9 But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.
FROM CONCEPTION, WE HAVE BEEN HIS. WE HAVE HOPED IN HIM FROM INFANCY.
10 I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.
HE CONSECRATED US TO HIMSELF PRIOR TO OUR BIRTH.
11 Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.
THOUGH HUMAN HELP IS FAR FROM US, GOD'S HELP IS ALWAYS WITH US.
12 Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.
ENEMIES MAY SURROUND US, TROUBLES MAY BESET US, BUT THE LORD IS WITH US THROUGH IT ALL.
13 They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.
THE BEAST THAT ASSAILS US CANNOT OVERCOME THE CHRIST WHO IS WITHIN US.
14 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.
WHEN WE ARE WEAK, THEN HIS STRENGTH IS MADE PERFECT IN US.
15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.
EVEN LIFE'S FINAL ENEMY--DEATH--IS OVERCOME BY CHRIST'S CROSS.
16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have enclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.
WICKED, GODLESS, UNBELIEVING MEN MAY CLOSE IN UPON US, BUT EVEN THOUGH THEY MAY TORTURE US, GOD SHALL PREVAIL IN OUR BEHALF.
17 I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.
WE WILL BE UNBROKEN BY THE ONSLAUGHT OF THE ENEMY.
18 They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my clothing.
THOUGH THEY TAKE ALL WE HAVE AND GAMBLE FOR OUR POSSESSIONS, THEY ARE THE LOSERS; WE ARE THE WINNERS.
19 But be not thou far from me, O Lord: O my strength, haste thee to help me.
WHEN GOD APPEARS TO BE FAR OFF, HE IS RIGHT THERE WITH HIS SUFFERING PEOPLE, TO GIVE THEM STRENGTH AND HELP, EVEN AT THE HOUR OF DEATH.
20 Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog.
HIS DELIVERANCE IS SURE.
21 Save me from the lion's mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.
THOUGH WE BE RAVAGED BY WILD BEASTS, HE HEARS AND HE MOVES IN OUR BEHALF.
22 I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.
WE WILL PRAISE HIM AT THE POINT OF NEED SO ALL MAY KNOW OF HIS FAITHFULNESS.
23 Ye that fear the Lord, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel.
IN THE FEAR OF THE LORD THERE IS HOPE. TO PRAISE HIM IS TO SEE HIS GLORY.
24 For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.
HIS HELP IS NEVER FAR FROM THOSE WHO ARE AFFLICTED.
25 My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.
WE WILL TELL OF HIS GLORY AMONG THE PEOPLE.
26 The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the Lord that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.
WE WILL TASTE AND SEE THAT THE LORD IS GOOD; WE SHALL LIVE FOREVER BECAUSE HE AROSE FROM THE GRAVE FOR US.
27 All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the Lord: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.
EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW AND EVERY TONGUE SHALL CONFESS THAT JESUS CHRIST IS LORD...ALL MANKIND SHALL ONE DAY BOW DOWN BEFORE THE ONE WHO DIED TO SET THEM FREE FROM SIN.
28 For the kingdom is the Lord's: and he is the governor among the nations.
THOUGH THEY DO NOT RECOGNIZE HIM, THOUGH THEY DO NOT HONOR HIM, THOUGH THEY DO NOT ABIDE IN HIS WORD TODAY, HE SHALL ONE DAY RULE OVER THEM AND THEY WILL BOW BEFORE HIM--WHETHER THEY ARE IN HEAVEN OR IN HELL.
29 All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.
APART FROM JESUS, THERE IS NO SALVATION.
30 A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.
EVERY REMNANT OF HUMANKIND WILL WORSHIP HIM.
31 They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this.
ALL GENERATIONS SHALL KNOW HIM BECAUSE WE WILL DECLARE HIS TRUTH TO THEM.
