Dear LORD JESUS,
Today is Valentines' Day. This is the day we set aside to honor those we love...to thank our parents for all their provision, to thank our spouses for their faithfulness, to thank our children for the honor and respect they extend to us.
There are so many that deserve our gratitude, and YOUR WORD says that we should give respect to whom respect is due, give gratitude to whom gratitude is due, give love to whom love is due. We endeavor to do that, JESUS....

But sometimes we overlook the ONE to whom we owe so much ... sometimes we overlook YOU, dear SAVIOR.
We would not fail to extend to all our earthly friends and family the profound love that they deserve to receive from us, but help us also to extend to YOU the undying thanks and love we owe to YOU for all YOU have given to us.
Because YOU left the Realm of Glory to abide in a tabernacle of flesh, we have the Realm of Glory as our eternal home.
Because YOU became poor for our sake, we have become eternally rich.
Because YOU walked in truth, we may know the truth that sets us free from deception.
Because you love us, we need not abide in hate, but can dwell in love.
Because YOU tasted death in our behalf, we are heirs of life.
Thank YOU, JESUS, for all YOU are to us. Help us to be to YOU all that YOUR heart longs for us to be.
I place my love at YOUR feet, JESUS.
