Communication

In all warfare, communication is a vital necessity. It is imperative that the boots on the ground are able to receive messages from and convey messages to "the brass" if they are to be effective in their mission.

From 1942, U.S. Marines in the Pacific used the Navajo language as their secret code. The language didn’t have the vocabulary for existing WWII technology, so existing words had to be given new meanings. For example, the word for “hummingbird” (da-he-ti-hi) became code for fighter plane. Around 400 Navajo Indians (Code Talkers) were trained to use the code, and the Japanese never cracked it.

When you pray, the enemy of your soul and God's eternal purposes will endeavor to dissuade you in any way he can. If you are discouraged, you will give up; you will concede your hope for the future to the frustration of today. If you are distracted, your focus will turn to mindless pursuits that avail you nothing but brief respite from your real challenges.

But if you use God's prayer language, if you allow yourself to employ the gift of tongues, the evil one will never be able to crack the code; he can't discourage you and he can't distract you because he can't confuse the message between you and God!

Use your direct line to Jesus, obeying the scriptural admonition to "give yourself to prayer," Psalm 109:4, and use your prayer language so the line of communication between you and your Savior can be clear and free of interference.
