Cherish Freedom

The founding fathers of the United States of America were among the most brilliant and godly of men who have ever lived. They established a form of government that is unsurpassed anywhere in the world.

What they and those who followed them and who have fought for the freedoms assured to our citizenry by our Constitution have given to the people of this country is a treasure worth fighting for, but many today do not even recognize the priceless inheritance they possess.

Because freedom has been the portion of this people for so long, they merely take it for granted. They are oblivious to the price that was paid for it or of the difference it has made in how they are able to live their lives. History books that purport all cultures to be equal in their contribution to the betterment of mankind further the deception.

But, all cultures and all contributions are NOT EQUAL! Today's students of history should dust off some of the old, abandoned, accurate text books that convey the truth so they can rediscover the contrast between the government of America and that of less fortunate lands.

They need to recognize the treasure they have been bequeathed by their founding fathers who were godly men who cherished the salvation provided to them by Jesus' sacrifice on the cross; and they need to resolve that they will, like them, fight to preserve freedom for future generations.
