Jesus gave Himself to set man free from sin.
Our founding fathers spent their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to give us religious and political freedom in this land that they carved out of the wilderness.
That freedom of religion extended to every Christian persuasion but there was nothing of any religion included in that blanket of protection that did not fall under the umbrella of Judeo-Christian truth.
Further, there was a total rejection of the concept of socialism at Jamestown, where the Biblical admonition, "He who will not work shall not eat," was affirmed. (See II Thessalonians 3:10.)
This nation grew and thrived under the mighty hand of the One True and Living God who blessed it beyond any nation of the earth, yet today, we have citizens who are so foolish as to desire to emulate the failed socialist system that has destroyed the economy of every nation that's implemented the system.
Beyond that foolhardiness, those same citizens are toying with false religions and false gods. Our school systems are indoctrinating our children into them, when the God of our fathers has been summarily removed from our schools.
In all this, we are, as stated in Galatians 5:1, allowing ourselves to be burdened by a yoke of slavery.
