It is not God's intent that His people extricate themselves from life. He doesn't expect them to simply say, "God will take care of this or that," and disengage themselves from their circumstances.
Rather, He intends His people to be involved with living. He expects them to work diligently, to give generously, to care deeply, to love wholeheartedly.
Yet with all that, He also expects them to trust Him completely. If we will trust Him--leave everything in His hands--we will discover that He has indeed done, "exceeding, abundantly above all we can ask or think, according to His power at work within us." Ephesians 3:20
