What irony! The God who raised us up as a nation, the God who prospered us, not only economically but spiritually, the God who gave us freedom that had never before been enjoyed by any people before us has been virtually stricken from our national life.
Those who love this land and who love the Christ who established her to prosper among the empires and kingdoms and political systems of men lament the fact that what our founding fathers fought for, what succeeding generations of patriots have laid down their lives to preserve, has been recklessly dismantled by an insidious entity that disdains our Christian heritage and all it has accomplished.
We who are mindful that these United States of America has been placed
at the feet of JESUS and raised up by HIM to be a light shining, are
praying that HE will send a mighty move of HIS HOLY SPIRIT to sweep
through this land, restoring our faith in our LORD and reviving us
again.
May there be a Third Great Awakening that touches each citizen at the heart of who he is. May there be a return to the GOD of our fathers that sweeps away every false god.
The Word of our GOD says, "In returning shall be your strength," and we pray for a mighty turning of our people to the One True and Living Christ.
We pray II Chronicles 7:14 over our land, "If MY people, who are called by MY name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from Heaven and forgive their sin and heal their land."
May the wicked who would relegate us to the dust heap of history be undone as there is a mighty rising up of faith, beginning at the new Azuza Street Revival that is set to begin on April 9, and continuing until the whole nation is renewed in its very heart, restored to its former faith and raised up to once again be a force in the hand of the Living JESUS for good in the world.
