Who or Whom?

Some of us have spent a lifetime majoring in the minors...and that is not to suggest that there isn't a rightful place for attention to detail--for using words like 'who' and 'whom' correctly.

That is simply to acknowledge that when we're focused on the minutia, the real point might be lost to us. Have you ever missed an important detail in a movie because the person behind you kept bumping your seat?

We can all plead guilty to allowing our true purpose to be overtaken by the insignificant details surrounding it, but there is no area of life where this can be more defeating than in the realm of our faith. If we are to be optimally blessed, we must be oriented around the true focal point of our faith -- and that focal point is JESUS.

If we allow anything to supersede HIM, no matter how significant it may seem to be, we are robbing ourselves of the blessings HE longs to give to us and the blessings HE desires to share through us.

Who of us--or is it 'Whom'--would not prefer to be in the center of HIS perfect will so we may be blessed, so we may be a blessing?
