Prayer Initiative

Prayer Initiative *
* Yesterday, December 7, was the 75th Anniversary of the attack of the Japanese on Pearl Harbor.

The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalm 18:2

Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle... Psalm 144:1
The Lord is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him. Nahum 1:7

If Your presence does not go with us, do not lead us up from here. Exodus 33:15

We ask for Your protection against all enemies foreign and domestic, seen and unseen.

We pray for those who voluntarily put on the uniform of America's Armed Forces as they serve both abroad and at home. Please cover those in overt or covert service with Your abundant protection and provision.

We ask You to reveal all the intelligence they need to do their jobs well.

Lord we ask you to bless and protect their families and keep them brave, strong and loyal to their members in uniform.

Receive our profound thanks, Lord, for those who have given their lives in service to America. We pray for your deepest blessings upon the families of those who have paid the highest price for the welfare and freedom of others.

We ask You to give new life and vision to those who have lost limb or function in service to our country. We ask for hope, courage, strength, faith and endurance for each and every one. We pray for companionship and support for each and every one. We gratefully thank You for those who care and come along side our warriors who have paid such a high and lasting price for our freedom.

We feel the alarm of war, O God. Please hear our prayer for those who flee or are displaced due to conflict, especially our brothers and sisters in Christ. Give them an extra measure of faith in You. We pray for their protection, provision, peace and comfort in the midst of great difficulty. Guard their lives and their hearts with the hope that only You can provide. Please give the world's leaders the discernment, wisdom and integrity to do the right thing by You.

Lord, we ask You to protect and lead our leaders in their deliberations and negotiations. Please give them wisdom to honorably fulfill their Constitutional mandate to provide for the common defense of the American people.

Lord, we pray for those who defend this country in prayer. We lift each and every prayer warrior up to You, asking You to keep us attuned to Your Spirit, Your heart, and Your voice.
