Prayer Requests from a Missionary
DEATH AND HOPELESSNESS IN ALEPPO
The news coming out of East Aleppo this week is terrible. Thousands have died. Many have nothing to eat. The weather is bitterly cold, rainy and bleak, and most have no way to stay warm. It seems everyone has lost hope.
Regardless of the politics behind this catastrophe, it’s impossible to be a Jesus follower and not feel compassion for those who are suffering.
Would you please join us in praying for this horrific situation?
Here are specific prayer requests.
1. Pray for an immediate cessation to the bombing.
2. Pray that the city will be demilitarized.
3. Pray for supplies of food, heating gas and other necessities to be delivered to the city.
4. Pray for hope.
5. Pray for emotional healing for all of those who have lived under daily military assaults for months—especially the children.
6. Pray that the Prince of Peace will rule in the city through the hearts of His people.
7. Pray for laborers to live in and serve the Syrian people boldly in Jesus’ name and power.
