From
the wooley caterpillars to the OLD FARMERS' ALMANAC to the most
sophisticated meteorological equipment, prognosticators have been
endeavoring for centuries to predict what the weather would be like at
any given point in the future.
Sometimes these predictions have met with great success and sometimes they appear to be utter failures, but one thing we know for sure--the weather will be what it will be. Ultimately, all we can do is to be prepared for it.
In the realm of the spirit, there has been much prognostication regarding the return of CHRIST.

In the realm of the spirit, there has been much prognostication regarding the return of CHRIST.
As early as HIS ascent into Heaven, only days after HIS resurrection,
people were gazing heavenward, wondering when HE would come back.
The angels who were assembled there said, "You men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing into the sky? Don't you know that this same JESUS who is taken from you will come in like manner as you have seen HIM go?" Acts 1:11
The angels didn't say when HE would come. JESUS HIMSELF stated emphatically that "no man knows the day or the hour, only GOD alone," has the time pinpointed.
What we do know is that there will be signs in the heavens, wars, rumors of wars, false prophets and a whole litany of indicators that HIS return is imminent.
What are we doing with the information we have?
Like weather prognosticators, we are attempting to use it to discern the times and the seasons. We may or may not be accurate in our expectations.
But the one thing we can know with certainty is that at the precise time that GOD has appointed, JESUS will come again.
