If you are a patriot...if you believe that our GOD destined this land to be "a city on a hill," a beacon of truth shining into the darkness of the pagan cultures of the world, then lift this nation up in prayer.
The nature of evil has not changed and comes wrapped in many alluring guises. If you have but a perfunctory knowledge of a false religion, it may seem compelling but if you delve into its tenets and into its history to see the fruit of its doctrine, the outcome of its power, you will not be deceived.
If you apply that same study to CHRISTIANITY, you will discover that
the preponderance of the nation's hospitals and universities, the bulk
of the nation's law, the source of the nation's benevolence are all
established upon the foundation of faith in JESUS CHRIST.
Where other cultures, other religions, are content to exist within themselves and to control those under their power and influence, it is CHRISTIANITY that has reached out to touch the world with the goodness that flows from the heart of JESUS.
AMERICA has done that to a greater extent than any other nation. AMERICA has gone into more places with more foreign aid, with more missionaries than any other country--not to build an AMERICAN EMPIRE, but to build the KINGDOM of CHRIST.
