Human nature hasn't changed. We have always been selfish and greedy and boastful and proud.
Disobedience and ingratitude have been manifested from the beginning of man's occupation of the planet.
Being unloving and unforgiving are rooted deep within man's heart of stone and it is only the receipt of a new heart of flesh that delivers him from the endless cycle of unloveliness.
Cruelty and hatred are not new in our day. Seeking after pleasure
rather than seeking after GOD and HIS immutable TRUTH have been man's
preoccupation from the beginning.
And sadly, from the first telling of the message of salvation, man has mocked the notion that he needs a SAVIOR.
Believers in CHRIST are admonished to disassociate themselves from this kind of wanton foolishness. Have you withdrawn yourself from "the crowd"? Have you invested yourself with the people who seek diligently after the LORD and HIS WILL?
Don't allow yourself to be found in the snare of the sin and deception of the world when CHRIST comes back to take HIS own with HIM to glory.
