LORD JESUS, we come before YOU in sincere repentance for the wrongs that have been perpetrated against the Native American people. We ask YOU to plant in the hearts of our leaders the desire to rectify those wrongs.
We ask YOU to plant in the heart of those who have suffered injustice at our hands the forgiveness that only YOU can give to a man or to a people.
We pray that YOU allow YOUR HOLY SPIRIT to move so fully and so freely through us and through them that in our common bond of love for YOU we will find oneness of mind and heart, so finally, after all the years of separation, we can be truly one in faith -- that perfect unity may be our portion.
