Standing United Together . . . Under the Cross of Christ

Standing United Together . . . Under the Cross of Christ
We as believers in JESUS CHRIST as our SAVIOR and LORD have a political obligation to vote in accordance with the candidate whose policies most closely align with our beliefs.
For example, any resident of Virginia, should NEVER allow himself to vote for Governor Ralph Northam. Although many people consider him to be a highly qualified occupant of the lofty position he holds, when a believer sees him, two things should stand out:
1. Northam in "blackface" during his college years, making a mockery of the good citizens of this nation whose skin color is not the same as his.
2. Northam, a pediatrician, butchering babies in their mothers' wombs.
No matter what benefits he may bring to Virginia during his tenure in office, should he run for the office of governor again, or should he vie for any other political office, those who profess CHRIST should NEVER vote for him.
Is there anything that could persuade a person of faith to do otherwise?
ONE THING.
Were Ralph Northam to fall on his knees before the LORD JESUS CHRIST and confess these two diabolical sins and ask HIS forgiveness for them, a believer in the LORD could support him politically.
One should not accept a "report" of his conversion to CHRIST; one would have to hear from his own lips that he had repented from evil and placed his life at the feet of JESUS; that he would live out the remainder of his days loving and serving JESUS and blessing humanity with the gifts and resources and power the LORD allowed to be placed in his hands.
A follower of the SAVIOR must apply the same litmus test to every candidate who runs for every office in which he may vote.

A CHRISTIAN'S one vote must always count for JESUS.
